Flag Football

TJ had his first flag football game this last week.
He is LOVING it and looks forward to playing.  He now is insistent that he get to play grid kids tackle football in the fall... mom is a bit more hesitant.

 Go Raptors!

Happy Father's Day

I have been blessed to have an AMAZING husband who is a Father that deserves all he gets on Father's Day.  He is attentive and loving to our children and to me, and he most importantly wants our children to carry on a legacy of faith.  I love that his desire is above all for our children to love the Lord and I am so thankful that he is who he is.

For Father's Day we decided to head up to the mountains for a nice picnic lunch and then we came home to watch the NBA Finals game.

I am so thankful to live in the Northwest, where we can drive up into the mountains to this kind of serenity.

Happy Father's Day to the best daddy in the world!

Mini Olympian

Avarie had her mini-Olympics with gymnastics.  She was so excited to perform for us, and as you can tell so were the Phillips girls!

Had to sneak in a picture of her with one of the kittens, since this is what she does most days! :)

Until next year!

Avarie's First Recital

Our sweet little reserved Avarie has been taking piano lessons this year.  She was a part of a recital with her piano teacher and had her very first performance.
I was so nervous for her.  I thought, there are like 150 people here and my sweet little girl who won't look anyone in the eye without prodding, has to stand in front of them and perform.  I was shaking in my boots thinking of how scared she must be.  I however, was WRONG.  The little pro took the stage by storm.  I asked her if she was nervous and she just shrugged.  Not nervous, not excited just something she had to do. I am such a proud mama!

They sang a little song and then each child performed individually.

I tried unsuccessfully 3 times to upload a video...but to no avail.  My internet wins again. Boo.
