Avarie's Fries Family 7th Birthday Party.

We celebrated Avarie's birthday on Sunday and went out to dinner followed by an amazing chocolate cake, designed by Avarie.  A chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and of course sprinkles!  Avarie got to open presents and enjoy spending time with some of her favorite people.
 Nanny and Papa.
Papa has an awesome "silly face"

 The other Fries'.

My sweet girl...
I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed  us with you.  You are so sweet and generous, have a heart that loves the Lord and is sensitive to the sin in your life.  You love your brother and sister and truly show me your tender spirit each day.  You are daddy's girl and are so proud of the various accomplishments you have made this year.  I am so proud of who you are becoming and I look forward to seeing where the Lord takes you in the coming years.  I love listening to the stories you write and read to us, and can't wait to see how God uses that talent in your life.  You are precious to me sweet pea and I thank the Lord that he saw fit to put you in our family.

Mt. Rainier

We spent a day up at Mt. Rainier.  It was crazy busy compared to the last time we were up there!
It also made me want to go camping, that is until I thought about all that goes into tent camping with 3 kiddos and a husband.  Which then reminded me that it was a really bad idea.  One day...I will feel like it is worth it to haul up all the paraphernalia to sleep on the ground with bugs and bears....I digress.

As is obvious by above statement we are more of a day camp kinda family.

We had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute of it.

The handiwork of the Lord...amazing.

So long....

Avarie decided that if she had to trim her hair (which was a desperate need) that she wanted to chop it all off and donate it.  We called a friend to see if she could see her that morning and she could.  So....with many tears (by mom) we headed to the salon.

She LOVES it!
She looks so grown up.
Apparently when you turn 7, your whole life changes....
earring, hair...what's next?

Mama's Birthday

Well, I turned 35 (gasp) this year and I celebrated with a small birthday party... nothing to gigantic.  I was able to spend time with family and celebrate this past year.

 My love...
Avarie had wrapped a present a week before my birthday and waited and waited for me to open it.
She even made a card.
That girl...she makes my heart smile.
She made me a beautiful necklace.

My family. I am so thankful for these 4!
The nephews helped me open some gifts.
Erin made me a beautiful, and delicious ice cream pie.  Thanks Nanu!

Copy Cat, Copy Cat

Avarie loves Scrabble, she is still learning how to play, but thinks it is fun.
Well, we were playing the other day and Lylah went and got another board and started playing as well.
She does everything Avarie does...precious.
