Vagabonds....

Well, we are officially homeless...

...and on vacation.
Nothing like blindly trusting the Lord. We currently do not own a home OR have a home rented. We are enjoying a MUCH NEEDED vacation away from Yakima, and are loving every minute of it!
Tuesday night we handed over the keys to our beloved home of 7 years to the new owner.
We are both excited and sad about this. It is exactly where the Lord wants us, which is exciting. And sad because our babies had so many firsts in that home.
Tuesday we looked at a few condos/duplexes and haven't decided for sure on any of that as of now. We felt strongly that the Lord was calling us to wait to sign any lease until we returned from vacation....SO we TRUST and wait. Knowing that God has a perfect plan for us, and a perfect time to show us His plan.
Currently we are spending our time in Big Sky, MT...which given the opportunity would be the general area of our new home. Needless to say, we LOVE it, but it would be a SUPER LONG commute for Tim and to SVC. So for now we will continue to dream of country living in the back woods of Montana. It is some of the most beautiful country I have seen, and this is not our first time here. I love it more every time we come through Montana.
We drove from Yakima to Missoula yesterday and the kids did FANTASTIC!!! I was so excited and happy with the way they behaved and they only watched one movie on our way from Yakima to Spokane. They really are doing so well.
Today we drove from Missoula to Big Sky.
My sweet cousin Shannon and her family are making their way home from a 3 week road trip and it so happened that we would be passing by each other as they headed home and we headed to Big Sky. So we met in Butte and let the kiddos play at a park. We joked that it is unfortunate that we have to both be on vacation in Montana to see each other (totally my fault Shan :)).

We then hit the road again and continued on our journey, hitting Big Sky late afternoon and then exploring this city where everything closes at 6. Then we found a great little place for dinner. We will probably check a bit out again tomorrow. The kids are all currently crashed in the suite (that we were upgraded to!!!) and we are planning our attack on Yellowstone.
Here are some pictures for your enjoyment.

Late at night and they are still smiling!

This was this afternoon. Lylah got a great nap! Left to right: Avarie, TJ, Lylah, Jack and Jessa

Shannon's husband Jason and Tim have been good friends since high school. In fact this Jason is the very Jason who introduced me to my beloved. I was able to return the favor by introducing him to my cousin Shannon, whom he married 1 year after Tim and I were married. It is fun to have him in our family!
