We were able to go to the Wild Horse Wind Farm near Ellensburg on a field trip. It was so fantastic! I definately reccomend it, they are open daily with regular hours and is worth the little trip to see these massive machines! 
The kids were all lined up to get inside the machine.
A couple of the babies. There were about 25 of us that we able to go. We met up with friends and family from Wenatchee that are also homeschooling.
They were almost able to reach all the way around.
