We had a reunion in Wenatchee over the 4th of July with my mom's side of the family, so we stopped by my aunt's orchard (dad's side of the family) and picked some cherries. I have SO MANY memories of this when I was a kid, that I love that I can pass some of those on to my kiddos. 
There really is nothing like fruit right from the tree.
