This year we were able to celebrate Veteran's Day downtown. This was the first year we have gone to a parade here, and the kids LOVED it. It wasn't huge, like the parades I remember from my youth, but it was fun, and I am sure to my children it was HUGE.
It was a great experience showing our children the value of our country and the freedoms we enjoy. It was a fantastic way to show our support to the many Veteran's that fought for those very freedoms.
