So this dress comes with a history. Velma's grandmother made this dress for Velma when she was little. Velma wore it as a little girl and pulled it out for Avarie the other day. It is one of the most adorable things. However, the whole time she was wearing it I was sure something would explode (like a ketchup bottle) and she would be forever known as the girl that ruined her great-great grandmother's homemade dress. But Velma insisted it was ok for her to wear it, and it was beautiful I must say. A treasure for sure.
